Damac to deliver 8,800 residences in 2026

Damac Properties, one of Dubai’s biggest real estate developers, has revealed its plans to deliver 8,800 residential units in Dubai in 2026, as well as announcing over Dh10 billion worth of construction contracts for the first half of the year alone. The simultaneous announcement reflects an active time of the developer's operations, which are advancing on several fronts in its extensive master-planned communities and iconic high-rise projects.
Ali Sajwani, Managing Director of Damac Properties, said, “Damac remains fully committed to delivering every promised unit and project to our customers without disruption or delay. Despite the regional tensions earlier this year, our construction activity, operations, and handover timelines continue to progress with confidence and consistency. Our priority remains clear, to deliver on our commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and execution. Dubai continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience as a global real estate and investment destination, and Damac remains focused on supporting the emirate’s long-term vision through timely delivery, and continued investment across our developments.”
The planned handovers are spread across a wide cross section of Damac's most prominent destinations, such as Damac Hills, Damac Hills 2, Damac Lagoons, Chic Tower, and Elegance Tower. The projects span the company's residential portfolio, ranging from villa-focused suburban communities to urban, contemporary towers, reflecting continued progress in the construction sector across its pipeline. To ensure this speed, Damac has been investing in strategic partnerships with tier-one contractors, optimising internal processes and integrating digital solutions into project management, all designed to hold delivery dates.
Since its inception in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani, Damac Properties has already delivered more than 50,000 units and is currently building 54,000 units in various stages of construction in the UAE and elsewhere. It continues to build its footprint with a series of global collaborations, such as the partnerships with Chelsea Football Club and Oracle Red Bull Racing, in addition to a number of high-profile project launches.
