Amwaj Development, a Dubai-based boutique real estate developer, has shared construction updates at its two residential projects in Meydan: The Cube Residences and Gate Eleven. The Cube Residences is now 50 percent complete, while Gate Eleven has recorded 35 percent completion.

“The progress achieved across The Cube Residences and Gate Eleven reflects two distinct stages of development, with one project moving through its final construction phases and the other making strong structural progress. For us, construction milestones are ultimately about turning plans into tangible homes and communities," said Emad Saleh, Founder & Chairman.

In August 2026, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) awarded Dh1.161 billion in contracts for the Al Meydan Street Development Project, which includes 17 kilometres of roads and 3.7 kilometres of bridges, alongside cycling infrastructure. The project is expected to serve residential and development areas with a combined population of more than 500,000 people and is targeted for completion by the end of 2028.

The RTA project is also expected to increase the capacity of north–south traffic corridors by 18 percent, while a specific route connecting Al Manama Street and Dubai-Al Ain Road to Umm Suqeim Street is expected to see travel times reduced from approximately 30 minutes to 10 minutes once the works are completed.

Against this backdrop, The Cube Residences has reached 50 percent overall construction progress and remains on track for completion in Q1 2027. Blockwork, internal plastering and painting works have each reached 95 percent completion, while dry-area flooring stands at 85 percent. External plastering has reached 70 percent, with wet-area flooring and wall tiling at 40 percent and MEP works at 45 percent.

The construction progress places The Cube Residences firmly into its finishing stages, with the development designed around a residential offering that combines accessibility, open space and proximity to key business and leisure destinations across Dubai.

Meanwhile, Gate Eleven has reached 35 percent overall completion and is scheduled for completion in Q1 2028. The project's overall structure is now 70 percent complete, while blockwork has reached 15 percent, marking continued progress through its structural phase.

Located in Meydan, Gate Eleven forms part of an area undergoing significant infrastructure development. The wider Al Meydan Street project is designed to strengthen connectivity between key road corridors, including Al Khail Road, Latifa bint Hamdan Street, Al Marabea’ Street and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, while supporting current and future residential and development areas.

Murad Saleh, CEO, added, “As Meydan continues to develop, supported by significant investment in its surrounding infrastructure, our focus remains on delivering residential environments that are accessible, thoughtfully designed and suited to the way people want to live.”

With The Cube Residences progressing towards its scheduled Q1 2027 completion and Gate Eleven advancing through its structural phase ahead of Q1 2028, Amwaj Development continues to contribute to the evolving residential landscape of Meydan.
